It's Spring!

Spring is here and that means trips to the park, nice sunny and warm days (rainy days like today too and though we need the rain, today I would like the sun) and of course spring clothes.
This past weekend was beautiful and we went to the park where Willow enjoyed her first swing ride.

We also got out the Spring summer garb and Carl got new sandals.....

Life is exciting isn't it?! Well, it certainly can be silly with these two!

How quickly they grow

While Brian was at Mississippi Market this AM the kids and I were playing in the living room. Carl likes to sit inside this little house thing and play hide and seek with Willow. They are growing so fast... Willow standing here, my goodness. All I can say... they're not a baby long!

A first...

Willow's first tooth poked through yesterday. She doesn't like to show it much - but she will bite you with it. And with some serious aggression I might add. Our babies growing fast! She has also taken to trying to climb up on things too - she can't quite hold herself up so it typically is hazardous but she tries. Kinda scary. What I find most scary is the thought of 2 kids being so dare driven. I could end up in an institution for a nervous breakdown after all or at least heavily medicated....thank goodness for Brian's continued reassurance. (And I don't mean reassurance that I will need either of those choices, Mom!)

8 months and growing

Today was my first full day away from Willow and Brian's first full day with both kids. It was hard. We are both exhausted but for different reasons. I think he is rethinking the idea of a stay at home dad - at least full time anyway!

All about the napping...

This morning while Willow napped Carl and I shared some silly and sweet times. He loves taking the goofy pictures. Can't say as I blame him.



And while Carl prepared to nap Willow practiced her crawling. She's getting fast. Such a big girl.

Time with Willow

It's been a busy day already. Playing, muffin making, music and an all around good morning. Both kids started napping at the same time but Willow decided she doesn't need to sleep much today. So, while Carl kept napping she and I shared a few quiet, loving moments together. Let's hope the afternoon is as smooth.
