Better watch out...

These elves are a little mischievous and definitely silly. The days leading up to Christmas have been a lot of fun. Carl is so excited it makes me smile. Willow so tries to be like him we all laugh.
I especially enjoyed yesterdays making of gingerbread cookies and our sad attempt at a house. More on that later.




They love their footed jammies. As a matter of fact, Carl likes them so much, he doesn't like to get dressed. Many of his days are spent without getting dressed. But who wouldn't enjoy staying in PJ's all day?
He gets very attached to things.

Breakfast at the Bullens

In the mornings things are usually a bit crazy around here trying to get everyone to eat. Okay, it's not just the morning.
Anyway.... this particular morning I found great pleasure in sitting across from my sweet family while they ate. They were my panel and come to think of it I may have been running a few ideas by them.
I can't recall what the outcome was but I suspect full support.

Polka dots

Willow has been practicing putting her hat on and as you can see, is getting pretty good. Getting her to keep it on when we need her to is another story.

Yesterday was her first real day out in the snow. Brian bundled her up (it was, I know it's hard to believe, pretty cold) and they went out with Carl and Annaleise.
When I first looked out she was just standing there. I thought maybe because of her suit. But Brian said she started to kick the snow around around and then play. She was out for about a half an hour and then came in. Chilly feet and a very red face. Didn't seem to phase her.
Carl in a very sweet moment. He might be rough sometimes, but he really does love her.
