One week later
Once again I will comment on the rapid speed of time passing. Or maybe it is the amount of the many things needed to be accomplished each day... which things you choose (this includes sleep) and which get set aside for another time. This is something that gets set aside.
Thanksgiving was spent at home and instead of with the entire West Side Family is was just the 4 of us. Both Willow and Carl were sick and it seemed best to just be here to cater to just their needs, noses and happy or grumpy moments. We made it special. Carl helped set the table, we made special foods and we shared a toast. Carl gave thanks for his fruit parfait, we talked, we ate and we laughed.
Here they both enjoy the beaters from whipped cream.
And other foods... fruit, a muffin, pie and of course more whipped cream.
It was a lovely day full of many thanks. I am truly blessed and full of love.
